Europe Snapshots: Day 7

Thursday was our last full day in Istanbul and we had saved some of the best things for last.  For one, breakfast came highly recommended by our rental owner and it did not disapoint.  By far my favorite dish was the honey and clotted cream.  The flavors melted together perfectly.  After breakfast we took a tram to the Hagia Sophia.  It was a breath-taking building.  I couldn’t get over the enormity of it and how it was constructed nearly 1,500 years ago.  That night we traveled to Galata Tower and saw the best views the city has to offer.  We topped the night off with some baklava and tea.
